Use JobBlynt on iPhone

For developers with a compatible Mac and Xcode: Download the Mac Simulator app. Unzip the archive, boot an iPhone Simulator in Xcode and install App.app with xcrun simctl install booted App.app. This archive cannot run on a real iPhone.

What does JobBlynt for iPhone include?

The companion bundles the mobile interface and startup video. Its workspace includes resume checks, evidence review, job search, templates and document tools according to your existing account access. Tailoring keeps a job-specific copy separate from your original.

The mobile editor provides a document preview with a Templates panel on the left and editing controls on the right. Side badges open and close them. PDF files use the native share sheet so you can choose where to keep or send the document.

Can I install the native app on my iPhone today?

A signed iPhone build is not available yet. The download offered here is a Simulator app for a Mac running Xcode; it cannot be installed on an iPhone. It is not an IPA and does not bypass Apple’s signing requirements.

On iPhone, open the JobBlynt web app in Safari and sign in with the same account. You can add the web app to your Home Screen from Safari’s Share menu. This provides a shortcut to the web workspace while native distribution is being prepared.

How is the native iOS app tested?

Hosted Mac tests compile and launch the native app in Apple’s iOS Simulator. They check the Capacitor bridge, authentication initialization, video playback and the email sign-in interface. The Keychain test writes and reads a synthetic value, checks it after restarting the app and then clears it.

Simulator checks do not replace testing a signed build on an iPhone. Camera, microphone, file sharing, account recovery and store distribution still need final device validation. The native project targets iOS 15 or later; the Simulator archive is for developer testing on a compatible Mac.

How does account access work on iOS?

The iOS companion uses JobBlynt’s own email account sign-in, secure email links, email confirmation and password recovery. Session credentials are kept in Apple Keychain and removed on sign-out. Account deletion uses the existing JobBlynt account service.

The installed companion does not contain checkout or a link to buy digital features. It uses the access your account already has. Voice and meeting tools require their existing account access and permission for the devices you choose to use. Windows JBWhisper and browser extensions are not included.

Yes. Open the web app in Safari with your existing account. Its native share and secure-storage integration differs from the installed companion.

Is the app available in the App Store or TestFlight?
