What happens to your resume and your data
This page explains, step by step, where your resume goes when you use JobBlynt, what is kept, and how you remove it. It describes how the app works; it is not the legal privacy policy.

What happens to my resume during the free check?
The quick check reads your file on your own device. The ATS score is worked out in your browser, so the file is not uploaded for that step and no account is needed. Your resume text is sent to JobBlynt's servers only when you ask for more: reading your profile, matching you with jobs, or writing documents. From then on the text is kept with this browser's check, and with your account once you sign in, so you can return to your work. To do that work, JobBlynt processes the text on its servers, including with AI language models, and only for the task you started. JobBlynt does not check your history with former employers or any other third party. You can delete your resume and everything built from it at any time from your account page, and a check you ran without an account stays in that browser until you clear it.

How are sign-in and payment protected?
Signing in creates a session cookie that is marked HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax, so page scripts cannot read it and browsers send it only over HTTPS. Payments run through Stripe; JobBlynt receives the result of the payment, and every purchase gets a numbered receipt. The site sends security headers, including a Content Security Policy, on every page.

What does JBWhisper send, and when?
JBWhisper stores your notes, answers and recordings on your computer. Before every session you choose what kind of session it is. Only when that session type allows it are the parts of a session that need it sent to an AI provider, for transcription or answers; a restricted interview gets no generated answers at all.

How do I delete my data?
- Signed in. Open your account page and delete your resume, or everything in the account.
- Without an account. Clear this site's data in your browser, or start a new check, which replaces the old one.
- JBWhisper. Delete the notes and recordings in the app's folders on your computer.
