What is inside the Android app?

Upload a resume, review its ATS check and examine the experience you have confirmed. Browse jobs and matches, then use the document tools your account already includes. A tailored resume is a separate copy for one job; downloading it does not submit an application.

Templates and editing tools sit behind side badges so you can return to the preview without losing your place. Finished PDFs open the Android share sheet, where you choose a compatible app or file destination. The introduction video is included and can be skipped.

How do I install the APK?

This is a directly distributed, debug-signed test APK, not a Google Play release. Android may display a warning because the app is installed outside the store. Download it only from the link on this JobBlynt page. Updating a compatible earlier test build preserves its app data.

Download. Open this page on your Android phone and download the APK from the test-build section.
Open. Open the downloaded file. If Android asks, allow installation from the browser or file app you are using.
Install. Install JobBlynt, open it and sign in with your existing account. This build requires Android 7.0 or later.
Finish. After installation, you can turn off that browser or file app’s permission to install unknown apps.

Which permissions will Android ask for?

Microphone access is needed when you start speaking with Monica or join a meeting with audio. Camera access is optional for video or an image capture feature. Permission approval is separate from consent to process the content you choose to provide.

The companion does not request contacts, location, SMS or broad access to your storage. Files you choose to upload use the file picker. Exports use a private temporary folder and the native share sheet. If a permission was denied, you can change it under Android Settings, Apps, JobBlynt, Permissions.

How do sign-in and existing access work?

Use email and password, account confirmation, password reset or a secure sign-in link. Android also supports the configured browser sign-in flow. Automatic opening of verified email links depends on the release’s domain association; the app also offers an email-link opener.

The session is encrypted with an Android Keystore key and stays available after restarting the app until it expires or you sign out. Installing this build does not purchase any feature. Desktop JBWhisper, Chrome extensions and checkout are excluded.

Questions and answers

Is the APK a production Play Store release?

No. It is an installable test build for direct testing. The final Play release needs production signing and store review.

Will installing an update erase my resume?

An update signed with the same key normally preserves app data. Do not uninstall an existing build just to update; signed-in work remains with the server account.

Does downloading a tailored resume apply for a job?

No. The download prepares a document for your review. Sending an application is a separate action.
