Diagnostics and privacy
The Diagnostics tab shows whether JBWhisper is working — how long answers took and what training captured. It says nothing about you as a candidate.
What Diagnostics shows
- Latency, measured on the live path once a session has run and a question was answered
- Training: questions attempted, usable and rejected answers, review rate, average answer length and word count, pairing confidence
- Your voice profile: samples, approved samples, profile confidence, preferred answer length, directness, formality, technical density and drift
What stays on your computer
- Your notes folder and the index built from it
- Training answers, your voice profile and session memory
- Recordings, only when you allowed them, one permission per source
- Logs, in %APPDATA%\SecondBrain\AI Interviewer\data\logs

What goes to an AI provider
To transcribe and answer, the parts of a session that need it are sent to the provider you use — and only when the session type allows it. Your own API keys go only to the provider they belong to.
